Samsung Galaxy J & sony xperia z

Samsung Galaxy J & sony xperia z: The best GS4 variant yet, sadly you have to live in india to buy one

When Samsung started shipping the Galaxy S4 in late April, it packed a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 and 2 GB of RAM. Even today, that’s considered a powerful combination. But then LTE-Advanced happened in Korea, and in order to be able to use such an advanced network, phone makers needed to use newer chips, so the Galaxy S4 LTE-A was created. Same S4 as before, but the Snapdragon 600 was swapped out for an even better Snapdragon 800. According to aleaked NTT DOCOMO product brochure, the Galaxy J will take things one step further.
You know how that Galaxy Note 3 has 3 GB of RAM? Well, so does the Galaxy J. It still has the same 5 inch 1080p AMOLED panel as the original GS4, but with what are essentially Galaxy Note 3 internals. I can’t stress this enough, the Galaxy J will probably never leave Japan, but that doesn’t mean you should be upset. Think about it, we’re already in the month of October. In six months from now, Samsung will get on a stage in some big city and unveil the Galaxy S5.
Are specs everything? Yes and no. I played with a Note 3 over the weekend, and while I know on paper I should have creamed my pants, I was just … bored. TouchWiz needs to be updated. Samsung’s design language needs to be updated. Android needs to updated. And an extra gigabyte of RAM just isn’t going to make me happy anymore.
