How to Enable the Samsung Galaxy S3 Multiview Feature
The multi screen feature of the Galaxy S3 enables users to view different screens from various apps. This provides a variety of ways to perform multi tasking. So, for the people who are not familiar about how it works, here is a step-by-step guide about that particular feature of the Galaxy S3:
1. Check the Android Version
Before anything else, make sure that the version of the operating system of your Galaxy S3 is Android 4.1.2 or higher. You can see the version of your Android through the About Device option under Settings. If you have a lower version, update your phone first.
2. Enable Multi Window
After ensuring that the version of your operating system is 4.1.2 or higher, go back to the Home screen and press the Menu key. Then, proceed to Settings followed by Display. Enable Multi Window from there.
3. Check the Apps that Support the Feature
To know the list apps that are compatible with the Multi Window feature of the Galaxy S3, all you have to do is tap the semi circle located in the left side of your screen.
4. Viewing Multiple Pages
Just tap the app that you want to run from the list shown under the semi circle button of the screen. For the second app that you want to open, just hold and drag it to the right of your screen or wherever you want to place it. You have the option to resize each window depending on your preferences just by dragging their borders.
