Instagram for Android Updated to 1.1.4, Gets New Features
The Instagram application has received a very warm welcome from Android users when it was ported from iOS. Instagram for Android quickly become the most popular photo sharing app among users. A while ago, Facebook acquired the company for a better integration into their social network.
As you know already, Instagram allows it’s users to beautify their photos with a whole range of effects available then share them on their favorite social network Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Flickr, and Foursquare. Shared photos will be available in a simple photo stream for their friends to see – and follow each other’s photos.
The update that came out today doesn’t add any new artistic filters but it mostly is the work of Facebook on the application to make it more social. From now on, you will be able to share likes on your wall directly from the app. We also noticed a new explore tab here to replace the popular tab. The built-in search engine now allows you to search for tags and users so that you can easily find pictures from your favorite artists. A bug that caused a problem when trying to load comments has also been fixed.
