A cool 3D Space Centipede that lives on mushrooms
Somewhere in space there lives a giant creature in an asteroid belt in a beautiful nebula. The creature, a "Centipoid", is a centipede-like beast. It eats mushrooms and when it has eaten enough mushrooms, something amazing happens: His body splits up in two parts and the head part flies away like a rocket to other asteroids.
As you already can guess, you have to control the centipoid. Let him eat enough mushrooms. But look out! There are 9 different kinds of mushrooms, each with own effects! And of course keep him from crashing into the mountains or other obstacles. Each level finishes when the snake has eaten enough mushrooms and he leaves the asteroid with an impressive blast of particle thrusters!
The controlling and the graphics of the centipoid is great! The background is very nice too. The graphics of the asteroids and the mushrooms are not as good though, but still all together it is a really cool game. I played it untill the end, but I have since forgotten how many levels it has. I think 16.
It is not an easy game, but it is very enjoyable. And there is an in game help and readme. If the game is too difficult for you, read the readme file for cheats! ;)
Controls:
Arrows left/right = steering
F1 = change camera
